Declaration of Operational Compliance (DOC)
The DOC is issued by ADIPS once the Inspection Body has confirmed satisfactory completion of the inspection by entering inspection details on the ADIPS central database of Amusement Devices.
The DOC contains a 19mm silver circular holographic foil which will not be displayed on scanned/copied versions.

Provisional Declaration of Operational Complaince (Provisional DOC)
To cover the interim period between inspection and entry onto the ADIPS database an Inspection Body may issue a Provisional DOC, which is valid for 1 month. An unexpired Provisional DOC has the same validity as the permanent DOC and is evidence that the inspection is to be registered on the ADIPS database.
Genuine certificates are A4. Each certificate will contain a unique DOC number and ADIPS ID number. You can check the validity of any DOC by entering this information on the public area of the ADIPS database. Click here

ADIPS Identification Badges
Always check an inspector is on the ADIPS register before engaging them to perform inspection services.
All ADIPS Registered Inspection Bodies should carry an Identification Badge. You should check the front and the back of their card.
Check the front of their card for:
- The photo
- The Inspection Body
- The Registration Year
- The Inspector’s Registration number.
- The scope of the inspector’s registration.
Check the back of their card for:
- Key to identify the disciplines the inspector is registered for.

ADIPS Poster
Certification posters are free of charge and available for fairgrounds and amusement parks who comply with ADIPS and provide an excellent format for showcasing rides’ safety certification to all staff and visitors.
The certificates have a blank area where the name of the fairground or amusement park should be entered. The certificates aim to promote a message of safety and best practice and should be displayed where they will be seen by visitors.

ADIPS Device Tag
A device tag is issued for every device registered in the Amusment Device Inspection Procedures Scheme (ADIPS).
You can check the validity of any tag by entering the unique number into the online form.
ADIPS Device Tags also contain a QR Code. You can scan this and it will take you to the online form.
NB. ADIPS do not currently provide Device Tags for inflatable amusement devices. If you would like to receive a Device Tag for your inflatable device please do contact us
