Welcome to ADIPS

Fairgrounds and amusement parks are relatively safe when compared with other leisure activities and, in fact, represent some of the safest leisure activities of all.

The fairground and amusement park industry benefits from a high level of involvement from all major Industry Trade Associations, who work closely with the Health & Safety Executive to promote and improve the safety framework.

The cornerstone of this framework is the Amusement Device Inspection Procedures Scheme (ADIPS) which ensures amusement devices are regularly inspected and certified as safe for use by competent persons.

Use this site to learn about ADIPS, access best practice guidance, find details of Registered Inspection Bodies, Amusement Devices and much more…
