Types of inspection required for amusement devices
ADIPS covers the four types of inspection described in HSG 175: Fairgrounds and Amusement Parks – Guidance on safe practice. Pre-use inspections (Design Review, Assessment of Conformity to Design and Initial Test) should be carried out before a devices first operation. In-service annual inspection is then carried out at least every 12 months during operation.
